yesterday i shared our DTLA studio, but i’ve been working hard to get my home office photoshoot-worthy for y’all to see too and it’s getting there, but not quite. a few of my favorite things are the repurposed glass door from the salvage yard — we painted it black and added white porcelain knobs, and the floors which we painted white (finally – hurrah!). i’ve intentionally left the space pretty sparse — in part so i don’t constantly have to move furniture around like i did with my last home office; and also because i quite like showing off the new white floors.
but it’s lacking a little coziness! so i’m partnering with interior define and ordering their comfy rose accent chair (designed by the everygirl — look how pretty it is!), which is going to fit perfectly next to the bright sunny window — the perfect spot to read or work on my laptop, too. it’s also on casters, so easy to move out the way for shoots (plus, i’m a sucker for furniture on wheels!). interior define sent me their fabric swatches to choose from, but i’ll bet you can guess i picked the ivory heavy cloth (always love white!). i’m pretty excited for ‘rose’ to arrive and will share how the room has progressed once that sweet chair arrives.
